The Wilton Companies is awarded the exclusive leasing assignment of Willow Lawn!
 February 1, 2005 - The Wilton Companies is pleased to have been selected by Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRIT): NYSE to exclusively lease Willow Lawn Mall, a shopping center landmark in Richmond, Virginia.
Willow Lawn is a 440,000 square foot regional shopping mall located on Broad Street and Willow Lawn Drive near Staples Mill Road. Built in 1956 and last renovated in 1987, a new $18 Million Dollar Redevelopment plan is revitalizing one of Richmond’s most well known shopping centers and will help it regain a strong foothold in the ever changing retail landscape.
The new "open" plan provides stores with visibility to Broad Street which will help stores attract more shoppers and will only add to the convenience aspect of Willow Lawn.
The plan also calls for an additional +/- 17,000 square feet of retail which includes outparcels or pad sites with the ability to add three (3) additional buildings which will be detached from the main shopping center.
By opening up portions of the mall, there will be increased storefront parking. The "open-air" component for Willow Lawn will allow shoppers to access more stores with greater ease and in far less time.
