Henrico OKs contract for second phase of John Rolfe Parkway

March 1, 2010 John Rolfe Parkway, a western Henrico County roadway that was conceived in the 1960s is closer to coming together. Work on the four-lane divided road from Pump Road to Ridgefield Parkway - a 1.136-mile stretch - is expected to start this spring and finish by the fall of 2011. Once complete, John Rolfe will extend from Lauderdale Dr. to West Broad St. A portion of John Rolfe now runs from Lauderdale to Ridgefield Parkway. details

That's where the Cinderella Dreams Project comes in. The Midlothian Junior Woman's Club and Melissa Chase with Cox Radio, along with the YMCA of Greater Richmond, Lex's of Carytown, The Wilton Companies, and Logo Solutions have all joined together to ensure that no young woman is denied her chance to experience a quintessential event of adolescence - attending Prom.
