Jamie uses his wealth of experience working with contact data applications, initiating enhancements with proposal development, developing newsworthy advertising for print and online media, as well as other important marketing related tasks.
Being fully engaged in the commercial real estate market, his ability to network and generate business is impressive and his extensive marketing experience helps set him apart from other commercial real estate professionals. His responsibilities with The Wilton Companies include the representation of companies looking to buy or lease retail, industrial and office properties in the Richmond Metro area. Additionally, Jamie is involved in retail development opportunities in numerous locations throughout Virginia including Martinsville, Ashland, and throughout Central Virginia.
Background & Scope of Experience
A Virginia native, Jamie has developed his expertise and marketing experience working with business people from numerous industries. He began his career working with non-profit organizations serving as the Art Director for the JCC of Richmond before moving to Creative Director position for the YMCA of Greater Richmond.
After serving four years as a loyal part of these non-profit ventures, he was recruited to join the staff at Martin Branding Worldwide. There he served as Senior Designer and Project Manager working with industry leading corporations & businesses including Davenport & Company, LLC, Markel Corporation, QubicaAMF Worldwide, Carpenter Company and many others. Jamie was actively involved in creating advertisements that appeared in the USA Today and New York Times.
Jamie has always had a strong interest in commercial real estate and a marketing opportunity came about with Porter Realty, Inc. There he served as Marketing and Research Director and his responsibilities included generating leads, developing marketing cards, newspaper and magazine ads to promote properties. Jamie created many articles and advertisements that appeared in the following national publications: Southeast Real Estate Business (SEREB) Magazine, CORFAC International, SIOR Professional Report and others.
Working in the dynamic commercial real estate market in the Richmond Metro area enhanced his desire to become a sales and leasing professional which lead him to pursue an opportunity with The Wilton Companies. Jamie is a tremendous addition to the company, bringing a wealth of marketing knowledge allowing him to find real solutions and development opportunites for his clients.
