Jeff Doxey is a Vice President with The Wilton Companies. Jeff has been in the commercial real estate industry for 23 years focusing specifically on the retail sector. His main concentration has been focused on tenant/landlord representation, site selection and land assemblage for development.
Additionally, Jeff represents local, regional and national retailers in the site selection/development of retail/commercial properties including freestanding properties, in-line shopping centers, outparcels, big box retail, suburban power centers, life-style centers and regional malls.
Background & Scope of Experience
In 1984, Jeff joined the S.L. Nusbaum Realty Company as a Property Manager and eventually served in leasing and development capacities. After five years with Nusbaum, Jeff joined Harrison & Bates in 1989 specializing in Retail Brokerage.
In 1995, he joined the firm of Goodman Segar Hogan Hoffler (GVA Advantis) as Vice President of Retail Services for the Richmond Office. Jeff Doxey was one of the founding partners of Dominion Commercial Realty (DCR) with David Andrews which opened for business in October 1997. In 2001, DCR merged with The Shopping Center Group out of Atlanta, Georgia.
In October 2004, Jeff joined The Wilton Companies as Vice President of Retail Services.
Education
Jeff is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He received his Virginia Real Estate Broker’s License in 1988 after successfully completing the course studies at the University of Richmond in real estate finance, brokerage, appraisal, and investments. He also successfully completed the International Council of Shopping Centers Marketing Management course at Michigan State University.
Additionally, Jeff is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). CCIM's are recognized experts in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate and part of an elite corps of 8,600 professionals who hold the CCIM designation across North America and more than 30 countries.
