As an Associate Broker, Chris Francoise specializes in the selling & leasing of office, industrial, and flex properties in the Richmond Metropolitan area. His core responsibilities include the leasing of The Wilton Companies' commercial real estate portfolio which includes approximately three million square feet of properties.

Over the years, Chris has developed extensive experience with over 15 years of transactional brokerage in all aspects of commercial real estate sales, leasing, investment and development in the Richmond metro area completing more than 325 successful deals. Additionally, Chris has represented local, regional and national companies looking to buy or lease office, industrial & retail properties primarily in the Greater Richmond Metro area including the City of Richmond and the Counties of Chesterfield, Henrico, and Hanover.

Chris has represented big regional & national companies like The Kroger Co., Progressive Insurance, Cox Communications and The May Department Stores. Additionally, he has worked for local interests like Central Virginia Health Network, Care Advantage and Mrs. Marshall Foods.

Chris joined The Wilton Companies in 2004 to lease their existing portfolio of office and industrial properties and help grow their third party/tenant representation presence in the Richmond metro area. Chris brings with him tremendous expertise with tenants, landlords and developers in the sale, lease, acquisition and development of office buildings, retail shopping centers and other commercial properties. Chris is a true "real estate technologist" with extensive expertise using computer and Internet applications for prospecting, canvassing, marketing and transactional data management. He utilizes these many skills in marketing to and prospecting for commercial office and industrial users and representing corporate clients. Chris is presently responsible for the management of Wilton's website presence. His outstanding record is based on a thorough understanding of the commercial real estate market, great networking skills and dynamic technology proficiency.

Scope of Experience

A Virginia native, Chris began his commercial real estate career in 1997 with Divaris Real Estate specializing in Tenant/Buyer Representation for corporate clients in office, industrial and flex properties and Landlord/Seller Representation in the sale and leasing of retail, office & industrial properties. Over the years, Chris has leased various commercial properties in the Richmond metro area to include downtown office buildings, neighborhood shopping centers, suburban office buildings, flex space and warehouses properties. He has transacted in excess of $50,000,000 worth of sales and lease transactions from 1998 to 2012, transacting several of Richmond's largest industrial sector lease transactions. Chris' focus has shifted to investment sales for local and regional investors in various submarkets. In addition, Chris taught real estate education classes including pre-licensing, post licensing and continuing education for Moseley-Flint Schools of Real Estate.

Chris has significant expertise as a Landlord/Seller Representative of commercial & retail space in the Southwest Quadrant, Northwest Quadrant and Downtown Richmond including the various submarkets of Innsbrook, Short Pump, the near West End, the Airport, the Central Business District (CBD), the Fan/VCU area, Monroe Ward, the Financial District, Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom, River's Bend (Chester) and the City of Ashland. Additionally, Chris has brokered commercial transactions in Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, Hampton Roads and Southwest Virginia including Alexandria, McLean, Reston, Fredericksburg, Ashburn, Charlottesville, Roanoke and Virginia Beach.
